biography

Prior to Nexec Partners, Michael’s career encompassed over 10 years in senior level executive search across an international platform. Initially educated in accountancy, Michael’s career quickly developed a commercial focus culminating in a position as Commercial Director with EMEA-wide responsibility.



Working within the services environment he successfully built long-standing relationships across all key countries resulting in significant business gains. Relocation to Australia resulted in Michael’s move into executive recruitment where he gained wide functional experience across Media, Advertising and other Service sectors.



Returning to the UK subsequently resulted in senior executive roles with Hanover Matrix, a pan-European technology search firm, and Nicholson International where Michael was UK Managing Director. Michael additionally chose to supplement his skills with the completion of an MBA, achieved in 2001.
