Ilana Brajer Austin is an experienced Human Resources professional. Ilana earned both her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Cornell University's prestigious School of Hotel Administration. She concentrated her graduate studies in the field of Human Resources. Ilana's 12+ years of experience as a corporate HR executive has spanned the retail, hotel, restaurant, and fine jewelry industries with organizations including The Rainbow Room, Beacon Hotel Corporation, Finlay Fine Jewelry Corporation and Cosi Sandwich Bar.

Ilana started Civilized People in order to provide the hospitality industry with a source of high quality candidates for candidates ranging from Corporate Controllers to Regional Managers to Construction and Real Estate Managers to Chefs to Operations Managers.
