Bill has extensive consulting industry experience, including practice management positions with Ernst & Whinney Consulting (now CGEY), James Martin & Co., and Amdahl/DMR Consulting. In between postings in the consulting industry Bill was a founding executive of KnowledgeWare, acting in key management roles during the period when the firm grew from 18 to over 600 employees over a five-year period.

During his career, Bill has built and managed successful consulting organizations in Chicago, San Francisco, Detroit and Grand Rapids. This experience gives him a critical edge in situations where intrinsic knowledge of the management perspective is necessary to identify, evaluate, and present the best candidate.

His extensive management, technical vendor and consulting experience has proven to be instrumental to success within client relationships in rapidly evolving technology dependent enterprises. He has been involved recently in the placement of senior consulting executives within IT strategy organizations and the placement of key IT technical executives at market leading commercial enterprises. The bulk of Bill's executive search activities have been centered upon high-level executive placements involving senior executives from Internationally known and respected consulting organizations. He has received both his undergraduate and MBA degrees from the University of Michigan.
