Diane Bates

biography

Diane is a co-owner and President of Alan Davis & Associates Inc. Prior to joining Alan Davis & Associates Inc., Diane worked for 20 years in Finance & Taxation for multi-national companies in the Oil & Gas, Shipping, Telecommunications and Banking industries. Diane's background in accounting, systems analysis, financial and strategic planning gave her the skills to develop and implement the operational processes the company presently uses.

Among the highlights of Diane's 40 year career are:

Successfully managing several Strategic Recruiting™mandates with clients in the Oil & Gas, Engineering and Power industries.
Being one of the first women to visit a North Sea producing oil rig; representing the lead partner in a significant North Sea Exploration and Producing License.
Troubleshooting for a major Canadian bank in tax havens such as the Bahamas, Cayman Island and Panama City.

Diane has a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration. She qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) and was awarded the designation of Professional Administrator. Diane currently sits on three boards.

Diane is a Cornerstone Certified Executive Coach building herself a niche market coaching female executives.

Diane has volunteered for many years within her business community as an organizer of the "Distinguished Speakers Program" for a local Chamber of Commerce. She has volunteered extensively within her local community in theatrical, educational and spiritual groups.
