biography

Lawrence joined Illini Placement in January 2005. Lawrence lived in Japan for several years. In 1996 he joined Access Technology, Japan; in Tokyo, there he moved through the ranks and was promoted to Senior Consultant, where he was instrumental in helping US technology firms enter the Japanese market. Consequently, he recruited Executives, Sales Directors/Managers, Salespeople, IT Programmers and

Developers for these clients. In 2000, Lawrence himself was recruited and moved to London, England as the UK Country Manager and European Sales Director for a US software vendor; PlanetIntra.com. On his

return to the US in 2002, Lawrence was joined A.G. Edwards and subsequently Banc One Securities as a securities broker, before joining Illini Placement. Lawrence holds a Business degree from the University of Illinois in Champaign, served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a commissioned officer and is a Gulf War veteran.
