Mr. Boroff, founder of Reaction Search International, began his career in executive recruiting with Management Recruiters International (MRI), the largest worldwide search organization in 1995. During his tenure with MRI, he was a highly accomplished Executive Search Consultant, producing over $3,200,000 in revenue in less than six years. After being promoted to management in January, 1997, Mr. Boroff grew office revenue by 110%. At MRI, he was recognized as the number one per desk average (PDA) in the country out of eight hundred offices, in addition to being a Top Ten Account Executive from 1996 to 2000. Further, he was honored as the Pacific Regional Account Executive of the Year for 1997, as well as being a multiple recipient of the Presidents Club from 1995 to 2000.
Prior to beginning his career in executive recruiting, Mr. Boroff served in the United States Army from 1988 to 1992. During his time in the military, he administered the 7th Infantry Division GTE MSE telecommunications training, completed Combat Leadership School, and was the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal. After completing his tenure in the military, he founded Café’ Express, a coffee company producing, operating, and retailing coffee products through specialty concessions in shopping malls. As the Principal, Mr. Boroff expanded annual company revenues by over 700% through successful efforts such as developing a relationship with Sears senior management to place espresso bars at 14 Sears store locations throughout California.
In 2001, he founded Reaction Search International, which has quickly become one of the premier executive search firms in the world. As Managing Director, Mr. Boroff brings his successful background in recruiting and marketing experience to RSI. Today, he consults with many Fortune 500 companies, as well as start-ups in delivering some of the world’s leading executives to their organizations.
Mr. Boroff studied Business Administration at Monterey Peninsula College in Monterey, California, Executive Management at Stanford Executive School of Management in Stanford, California, and Psychology and Web Development at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, California. He also has extensive sales training in Spin Selling, Dale Carnegie, Tom Hopkins, MRI customer focused selling, Anthony Robbins, Franklin time management, Sandler Sales Training and is a MRI Certified Senior Account Manager (CSAM).
