Steve comes to SRA and the executive search field from a career in the specialty chemicals and coatings industry, where he served in both technical and sales/marketing positions. He was involved in the launch of three ground floor start-up businesses during his career. Most recently he was Global Manager of Powder Coatings for a Division of Eastman Chemicals - McWhorter Technologies and before that held executive level positions with the Lawter International - Division of Eastman Chemicals, Air Products & Chemicals, PPG and the Ausimont division of Montedison. He is the author of over a dozen scientific papers and patents, was chairman of the American Chemical Society polymer section in Pittsburgh and was adjunct professor of chemistry at the College of Allegheny County.

Personal: Steve was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and is a sportsman and nature photographer, Steve and his wife Gail have three children.
