PROPOSITION

Provide professional consulting and talent search services to Consumer Product Goods Companies that may benefit strategically and financially from my experience, insight, networking resources and trade relationships developed via 25 years of diverse service to the success of other major CPG Companies. My area of specialization is retail products marketed through the various channels of the food and grocery industry.

FUNCTIONAL CREDENTIALS

• Build top down strategic plans in conjunction with officers of the company.

• Assist in design of pricing models that capture costs and deliver margins.

• Develop bottom up plans by market/customer in conjunction with sales agents.

• Formulate trade spending budgets, tactics and methods to evaluate results.

• Provide thought leadership regarding marketing, product line expansion, new business concepts, market penetration and personnel deployment.

• Serve as a project manager in scenarios requiring cross functional coordination.

• Direct teams to attainment of goals – financial, volume, margins and other KPI’s.

• Develop position descriptions, requisite skill sets, merit review templates/ processes and performance based incentive programs.

• Recruit, train and establish development plans for business management personnel.

• Engage in broker selection process, contract development, goals/evaluation process.

• Foster and enhance positive industry, retail trade and consumer relationships.

As the Owner and Principal Consultant of this entity, much work has been done to establish a database of industry resources and talent. This includes developing an affiliate network of consultants who can provide specialized advice in the areas of finance, insurance, employee plans, data sourcing, candidate testing, background investigations and other matters than a CPG concern may benefit from. My personal focus is on business building, or sourcing management talent that will do the same for an organization. These functionalities include strategic brand planning, marketing, sales management, category development and anything relating to the execution of go-to-market strategies.
