Susan is Co-CEO of Chadick Ellig. Celebrating over twenty years with the firm, she joined in 1986 when it was known as Gould & McCoy. In 1994, in recognition of her success, the firm's name was changed to Gould, McCoy & Chadick. In 2007, the company became Chadick Ellig. Susan has had a broad range of experience in corporate and consulting environments. Susan began her corporate career with American Express where she held both relationship management and specialist human resource positions. During her eight-year career there, Susan was responsible for staffing executive level positions globally, as well as being the human resource generalist to the corporate CFO and his executive team. Prior to American Express, Susan was a consultant for Boyle Kirkman Associates, a firm that specialized in empowering women in the workplace. Susan received her Bachelor of Science, Phi Beta Kappa, from Hunter College and her Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from the New School for Social Research. Susan is a past board member of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC) and for many years, Chaired its Small Firm Forum. She is the Global Financial Services Practice Group Leader for IIC Partners, a global affiliation of independently-owned retained executive search firms, and a member of the Women’s Forum. In addition, Susan serves on the Board of Trustees for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, the advisory boards of The York Theatre Company and the Striking Viking Story Pirates, a children’s theater group that promotes literacy in inner city schools. She is a past President of the Brooklyn Heights Synagogue. Susan is a frequent speaker on topics such as career trajectories, women on Boards, diversity and work/life balance. A native New Yorker, Susan resides in Brooklyn Heights, New York where she is active in the local community.
