Maria Chaloux – Founder and President

Maria Chaloux is the President and Founder of LECLAT GROUP LLC and is responsible for the overall strategic direction and growth of the firm including its success as a market leader in professional recruitment. Prior to founding LECLAT GROUP, Maria was a founder and Managing Partner of the Rainfield Group, one of the fastest growing executive and sales search firms in the Washington Metro region.

Maria is a sales and sales management veteran who began her sales career in the investment banking and brokerage industry. After receiving her BS degree in Finance from Virginia Tech, Maria joined Kidder Peabody & Co. selling equity securities to "C-level" executives. After a highly successful tenure she joined Friedman Billings Ramsey & Co as Vice President in their institutional sales group selling securities to the nations largest and most reputable money management and mutual fund companies.

After a 7 year career in financial services, Maria successfully transitioned to the hi-tech industry when she was recruited to manage the sales organization of a pre-ipo software company and assist the build-out of a 110 person national sales organization. Her responsibilities included sourcing, hiring, training and managing a sales team as well as overall accountability and responsibility for individual and team revenue numbers. Maria was rewarded for her success, drive and leadership abilities receiving several promotions, awards, and recognition for consistently posting the highest team revenue numbers and lowest employee turnover of any other sales leader in the company. Maria continued her management career as Vice President, Sales for an international software company where she assisted in the launch of its US operations.

Maria is a highly-regarded mentor and coach in the area of sales management and leadership. As a former hiring manager, her understanding of the "other side of the desk" is the backbone of the LECLAT GROUP methodology.
