Mr. Igor Chugay

biography

Igor joined Amrop's Russian Partner Firm in 1997. A Consultant of Amrop in Russia since 2003, he has been a Partner since June 2009. As well as being a member of Amrop's Technology and Media Practice Group, Igor serves as the Amrop Industry and Automotive Practice Group leader in CEE.

Earlier in his career, Igor founded one of the first Russian language private schools for foreigners in St. Petersburg, was Co-Editor of one of Russia's first Internet business newspapers, and worked as an interpreter for the Senior Management Team of a beverage factory.

He has served a large portfolio of clients in the IT and Telecoms sectors as well as in compatible innovation-intensive fields: Automotive, Security systems, Engineering and Eachine Tools and Chemistry as well as the regulation-intensive industries of Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution.

Igor has conducted more than 100 searches for General Management and direct reports for leading international companies.

An Honors graduate from the Faculty of Philology at St. Petersburg State University, he is fluent in English and Italian.
