biography
Oana Ciornei is a founding member of TheSearchers and she joined Amrop in 2010 when her firm became a member of Amrop in Romania. Oana oversees the strategic direction and operations of Amrop in Romania and serves as Senior Consultant for the following practices: Consumer Goods & Retail, Technology & Media and Family Business. She began her executive search career in January 2006, when she joined the affiliate office of Korn/Ferry in Romania as COO and Partner. Previously, Oana’s professional background includes a long and successful tenure with Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (9 years). Starting as Trainee Manager, she built her career up through various top management positions in HR, Performance Management & International Project Management and IT. Oana assisted and advised in the last years leading companies on leadership and senior management appointments, strategic restructuring and talent acquisition programs. Her former career gives her real-life sensitivity to many aspects of the performance requirements of the role. Her expertise includes multi-cultural leadership, linking business strategy to individual and organizational objectives, talent management and international project management. She is a certified SHL assessor and MBTI practitioner. Oana holds a Bachelor Degree in Computers Science from the West University of Timisoara, Romania.
