Dr. Alex Cirone

biography

Alex Cirone is Partner and Regional President for Latin America at Prolaurum.

He began his career in Executive Search at Korn Ferry International, as Founder of the Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile offices in 1988, later becoming Latin America Regional Vice President. During the period of the Firm’s growth Alex was member of the Operating Council and one of the Vice Presidents selected by the Chairman and CEO to form the Strategic Planning Committee that later became the Executive Committee to which he served until the firm became public in the year 2000.

For 20 years Alex has lead and supervised executive search practices and management consulting in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Peru, Colombia and Ecuador. He has managed major client relationships and critical search processes, covering a wide variety of functional areas and industries.

Prior to his experience in Executive Search, Alex held positions in human resources general management at PepsiCola International, as Regional Manager for South America and as Employee Relations Manager at the Worldwide Headquarters in Somers, New York. Previously, Alex held the position of Industrial Relations Manager at S.C. Johnson.

His international exposure has widened his global vision complementing his thorough understanding of business tendencies and knowledge of cultural dynamics.

Alex has a degree in Clinical Psychology from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and completed his doctoral studies in Industrial Sociology. He attended the “Senior Marketing Program” at the Columbia University, New York, USA and the “Advanced Human Resources Program” at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

He speaks fluent Spanish, English and has working knowledge of Portuguese and Italian.
