Alvaro Collas

biography

Alvaro was nominated Partner in February 2013. Previously, he was Director in Amrop Peru and Amrop Central America since 2011. Since his incorporation, he manages executive search and board member search assignments on behalf of local and international organizations.He has more than 18 years of experience in the fields of finance, strategy, business development and project management. During his career he held leadership positions at Citibank, PwC and Oracle. He has also worked in various countries of Latin America and in Canada. During this time, he was focused on developing and implementing value add solutions for his clients in the financial services, agriculture, fishing, mining and energy industries. B.A. in Economics from The University of Western Ontario, Canada. He has followed the Trusted Advisor Program at IMD. He has also attended the Advanced Management Program at Escuela de Dirección, Universidad de Piura. He is Partner at Pacific Investment Partners, a Venture Capital consultancy since 2010. From 2012 to Decembre 2013, he was Director of the Human Resources Committee and from 2007 until 2009, was Director of the Sustainable Development Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM). He was also Founder and Director of the Asociación Civil GestionaRSE from 2006 until 2010.
