Alberto Colombo is a Partner of Amrop in Italy since 2008. Alberto previously worked at IBM for 25 years in HR, Commercial and Technical Areas. After two international assignments in Paris and USA, he was appointed Director of HR Plans and Programs. In 1994 he joined Alitalia as HR Director of Customer Service. In 1996 he became HR Director of Edison; he set up the Commercial and Trading functions and the Edisontel start-up. He was a Member of Edison Termoelettrica Board. In 2002 he started his Executive Search career as a Partner of Boyden and Athena. Alberto’s main experience is in the Energy & Utilities sector. He also has strong competencies in assignments ranging from ICT, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Services and General Management. Alberto holds a degree in Economics from L. Bocconi University, where he was an Instructor in industrial techniques. He is fluent in Italian, English and French.
