For the seven years before conceiving and creating the company in 1996, he was responsible, for the interim management services offered by P-E International Plc. Working in partnership with the Confederation of British Industry and the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives, he delivered consistant excellence to many of the leading companies in the UK and France.

He was instrumental in setting and improving quality standards for the interim management industry and in the developments that led to the setting –up of the Institute of Interim Management. In 1996, he edited the UK industry’s “Guide to Interim Management.” published by “The Association of Temporary and Interim Executive Services” [ renamed now as The Interim Management Association].

This year, 2003, he was awarded a Companionship of the Institute of Interim Management for outstanding service to the industry and the Institute. He continues his active involvement with both bodies.

His career responsibilities in personnel management, works management and industrial engineering have included periods of employment with Mirror Group Newspapers, BASF, BTR, Pirelli and Dunlop.
