Mrs. Cornell has been noted as an expert on employee selection, HR practices, training, career counseling and life choices. An often sought after speaker, she has appeared on Lifetime TV and CNN as well as been featured in articles within the International Personnel industry. Her views are often included in articles written by local, regional and national publications including the New York Times, San Francisco Times and American Express magazines as well as various Internet features. These and other distinguished contributions have been recognized by her inclusion in 2000 Notable American Women, World Who's Who of Women and Strathmore’s Who’s Who for 1996/97. She has been named Business Leader of the Year by the Orange/Rockland Arthritis Foundation, as well as the 2000 Distinguished Citizen Award for Hudson Valley Council of Boy Scouts and been commended by the U.S. Congress and also conferred the New York State Senate Recognition for Service Award. In 2004 she has been recognized by the Girl Scouts of America as Business Leader of the Year.
