Rick is an executive search practitioner and recruiting process expert with more than 15 years of professional experience in the recruitment, selection and hiring of executives and key personnel.
With a passion for transforming business performance by recruiting exceptionally talented people, Rick incorporated Deare & Associates in 1998 with a vision of growing the business to become a preeminent service provider of Executive Search and Recruiting Solutions.
Rick’s background includes experience as a #1 national sales producer and as an executive manager. In 1990, as a Regional Vice President of Sales with a $480 million Investcorp International company, Rick was given responsibility to lead a large, complex and geographically dispersed organization. Convinced that the single greatest factor determining success in an increasingly competitive marketplace was talent, he focused his own efforts and those of his managers on recruiting, selecting, hiring and retaining exceptional people. The astounding results and rewards that followed were only the beginning of a growing passion, and a professional transformation. Following this passion, Rick decided to pursue the executive recruiting profession in 1996.
In addition to providing recruiting services to client companies, Rick has also provided strategy and process consulting to leading recruiting firms, technology companies, services firms and the human resources department of a Fortune 200 company.
