Damali Edwards founded Edwards Consulting Firm, Inc., in 2002 and serves as Chief Executive Officer. The company recruits mid-to-senior level management in a wide range of industries, functional and diversity search assignments. With a results-driven approach to recruiting, outstanding commitment and attention to detail, she has achieved enormous success in efficiently generating results for her clients nationwide. In this role, she is responsible for business development, operations and search execution.

Edwards is a member of industry organizations such as the Atlanta Executive Search Roundtable, the Georgia Association of Personnel Services and the International Association for Corporate & Professional Recruitment. She currently serves on the executive committee for the Small to Mid-Sized Business Council and the Regional Education Policy Committee for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She has been involved in other leadership roles including past committee member for Diversity and Inclusion at Agnes Scott College. She has written several articles and is a quoted expert and speaker.
