biography
Robert has broad experience in sales, marketing and communications working for IBM in various positions during 17 years. He started his career as a salesman, was then promoted sales manager with focus on industrial clients. He worked twice on international assignments, four years at the IBM European headquarter in Paris and two years at the Nordic headquarter in Stockholm. As a member of the local management team he was among others head of communications, head of the Baltic business unit and head of the finance and public sector business unit. Before joining Amrop, Robert worked as a Partner for a leading local human resource consultancy company. Working as an executive search consultant since 1996 Robert has placed a large number of managing directors, country managers, CFO’s and line managers. His customers are mainly from the Finance, Trade, Logistics, Media, IT and Telecom industries. Executive coaching of senior managers is part of his expertise area. He is a member of the Amrop Technology and Media Practice Group and a member of the Board in the Association of the Executive Search Companies in Finland . Robert has a B.Sc (Econ) in marketing from the Helsinki Swedish School of Economics and is fluent in English, German, Finnish and Swedish.
