biography
Rick Faubert is a Principal at The Onstott Group where he focuses on search assignments in the technology and financial services sectors. He joined The Onstott Group after eight years at AGC Partners (formerly America’s Growth Capital), a leading boutique emerging growth technology investment bank, where he was Partner and Chief Administrative Officer. At AGC, Rick was instrumental in developing the firm’s operational infrastructure. He orchestrated the hiring of senior-level investment bankers, research analysts and institutional sales traders and developed the firm's highly successful analyst and internship recruiting programs.
During the course of his tenure at AGC Partners, Rick established the firm’s offices overseas in Israel and London. He also coordinated and executed 16 investor conferences, which each included up to 200 C-level executives participating in a program for up to 1,000 senior-level private equity and VC investors in the emerging growth technology space. He has developed close relationships with leading entrepreneurs, investors, investment bankers and research analysts in information security, software, digital media/Internet, communications, data center and clean tech, among other fields.
Prior to his role at AGC Partners, Rick was a seasoned sports management executive who oversaw sales and marketing efforts for both the New England Revolution and Boston Breakers professional soccer teams in New England over a period of eight years.
Rick received his M.B.A. from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College and his B.A. from Middlebury College. He lives in Marshfield, Massachusetts with his wife and four children. An avid Boston sports fan, Rick is highly involved in his town's youth soccer organization as a coach and administrator. He is also a Board Member of the Marshfield Education Foundation.
