biography
Born in 1970, Carlos Fernandes graduated from the Leuphana University of Lüneburg, Germany, with a degree in business administration. Carlos Fernandes is a Managing Director at Amrop Delta, based at the Hamburg office. As a student, Carlos Fernandes already had experience of executive search from stints at Baumgartner & Partner and TMP Worldwide. After graduating, he joined Martens & Partner as a consultant and later accepted a post as a manager at MRI Worldwide. Almost eight years as a Partner at Cribb Personalberatung GmbH preceded his 2013 appointment as a Managing Director at Amrop Delta Management Consultants GmbH. Over more than 13 years in executive search he has also developed a functional search focus on the recruitment of executives for Sales/Marketing and CSO posts. His consulting practice is centered on national and international companies that have or want to have their key operations in the digital/online sphere. These include major international corporations and firms in the upper midsize market as well as e-commerce enterprises, online marketplaces and portals, online marketers, publishers, technology providers, gaming companies, media agencies, software manufacturers, mobile companies and startups. In his free time Carlos Fernandes draws inspiration from sport. He has competed in numerous different triathlons multiple times.
