Doug Frankel, Vice President, Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology Division

Doug Frankel has been an executive recruiter for the Biotech and Pharmaceutical industries since 1991. His fields of expertise and experience are broad, covering nearly 40 technical disciplines within R&D, including: pharmaceutical development (formulations and analytical chemistry); physicians involved in clinical research; pharmacology; quality assurance/quality control and manufacturing/process development. He has significant recruiting experience in therapeutic research within seven different areas including neurosciences, oncology, and metabolic disease. He also has significant recruiting experience in genomics and molecular biology.

Doug has completed numerous critical, executive-level searches which have resulted in him becoming one of the top life science recruiters nationwide. This is due to his aggressive style, strong network connections and direct recruiting background. He has been mentoring, developing and managing a group of recruiters and researchers since 1994. His current client base includes three major pharmaceutical corporations and an abundance of biotechnology organizations.

Doug was born in New York and raised in California. He attended the University of California at Irvine and received a Bachelor's of Science degree. He has been with National Search Associates since February 1993 and lives with his wife and two children in Olivenhain, California
