biography
After attending Queen's University in her hometown of Kingston, Kathy was lured west by the mountains. She obtained her L.LB at the University of British Columbia, then practiced law in Vancouver for 15 years. Kathy practiced labour and employment law at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin, then commercial litigation at Davis and Company before heading the litigation department of a local firm. She subsequently had her own practice focused on contract litigation and counsel work.
Three years ago, Kathy made the leap to recruiting. As it turns out, it was not such a big jump - all those years of cross-examining witnesses have made her an uncanny judge of people and honed her listening skills. With her wide practice experience, she is confident in assessing client needs and tenacious in ensuring the careful "fit" of each placement.
Joining IQ PARTNERS is a real "homecoming" for Kathy - not only because Randy Quarin is a fellow Kingstonian, but also because she shares IQ's core values of intelligence, integrity and service, and respect for others.
