biography
Neal Greene has been in the executive search industry since 1994 when he joined Kenzer Corporation, a nationally recognized, retained search firm, serving the global retail community. He successfully developed search relationships with large companies that were not considered traditional retailers, but did sell goods and services directly to the consumer. Most of these companies, because of a changing dynamic in the marketplace and the addition of e-commerce initiatives to their corporate agendas, required management personnel with traditional, yet sophisticated retail skills. These companies included Chevron, Unocal, Sun Oil, ARCO-am/pm, Subaru, Pacific Theatres, J.D. Power & Associates, and
BMW North America.
Prior to becoming a search consultant, Mr. Greene was a Sales/Marketing Executive in the stationary/greeting card/gift industries. He served as Vice President, Sales/Marketing for Paper Moon Graphics, and Director of Retail Store Development for Recycled Paper Greetings, the fourth largest greeting card company in the nation. In addition, during the mid 1970’s, while working for a Beverly Hills based auto leasing company, he authored and presented a marketing prospectus outlining the first auto lease program specifically directed to the consumer through a traditional retailer. It eventually was rolled out and tested as Sears Auto Leasing.
Mr. Greene has been active in many trade associations and business groups throughout his career. They include the L.A. Advertising Club, National Stationary Association, National Association of Convenience Stores, J.D. Power International Automotive Roundtable and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Mr. Greene is a native born Southern Californian. He attended California State University Northridge, and served in the United States Marine Corp Reserve.
