William Handler

biography

William Handler is a 1961 graduate of Trinity College where he earned a B.S. degree in Psychology.

He spent five years with the Olivetti/Underwood Corporation and held various positions within the personnel function of Olivetti’s manufacturing division, including Employment Manager and Labor Relations Supervisor.

The Subsequent nine years were spent with Coleco Industries initially as Personnel Manager and ultimately as Vice President Administration. Responsibilities included Employment, Labor Relations, Safety, Insurance, Compensation, Data Processing, Parts Marketing, and Customer Service.

In 1977, Mr. Handler founded, and is currently Chief Executive Officer of Handler & Associates of Atlanta. Handler & Associates is a retained executive search firm specializing in a broad range of industries and disciplines, serving clients on a national level.

Mr. Handler has addressed numerous state and national professional trade associations on professional employment related matters. Since 1987 he has taught at Georgia State University in the Center for Professional Education, College of Business Administration.

He is active in the Cobb County and Atlanta Chambers of Commerce. Mr. Handler is married with four children and resides in Big Canoe, Georgia.
