biography

Ronald C. Hendrixson is a senior level Executive Search consultant, performing search engagements for key Executives. Prior to founding RC Hendrixson & Associates, Ron was a Managing Director with eColony, a large early stage investment firm founded by the Internet Capital Group. As a member of the core team he was responsible for facilitating the progress and success of all eColony companies with an emphasis on recruiting, team building, and strategic organizational planning and development. Prior to joining eColony, Ron was a leading Executive Recruiter on the West Coast, having spent six years recruiting the senior management of technology companies and major corporations. Ron, for two years, led the International Technology Practice in Los Angeles for Heidrick&Struggles, helping create the Technology Practice in Southern California. Leading to this was a four-year tour at Korn/Ferry International, as a Senior Associate and Principal. For ten years prior to that, he progressed through the technical and management ranks of Rockwell International, in both commercial electronics and aerospace businesses. Ron’s search experience includes projects both nationally and internationally in a variety of industries and functional areas with focus on the Internet and information technology. He has successfully completed a large number of assignments, recruiting chief executive officers, chief technology officers, financial executives, marketing executives, chief engineers and other executive management positions in technologically oriented firms. Ron has a depth of experience in both established public companies and early stage technology startups. Prior professional experience includes positions with Rockwell International in program management, business development, research and development, marketing, systems engineering, hardware development, software development, systems integration and several project-engineering roles over a period of ten years. This breadth of experience was the result of a formal ‘fast-track’ management training program. His responsibilities were diverse and included a variety of engineering and program management roles on several commercial and aerospace programs. His systems engineering and product development path at Rockwell yielded technical experience in the full range of engineering disciplines as applied to the electronic systems and large system architectures. Ron received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at San Diego and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
