biography

Brian has been in the search field since 1988 and specialises in Mining and Resources. After graduating with a Masters and Honours degree in Science, he started his career as a university lecturer before embarking on a management career within the Petrochemical Industry. He then moved into the Executive Search Industry and in 1990 founded Transearch Africa. Brian was appointed to the Board of Directors of Transearch International in 1999, and was active in the restructuring and management of the global Organisation as its Chief Operating Officer. He relocated to the UK in June 2001 and joined Thomas Cole Kinder to establish its Mining & Resources practice.
