Deborah Howard

Deborah Howard is a Director and Insurance Practice leader at Per Ardua. She joined the firm from the Rose Partnership, where she was a founding member of the Insurance and Retail Financial Services practice. Prior to executive search, Deborah was a Partner in PwC’s Financial Services consulting practice. She focused on strategy, performance improvement and organisational effectiveness assignments. At PwC, she was also the HR Director for the Financial Services Practice and a regular assessor/chair of partner and director assessment and promotion panels. Her early insurance career was with AIG and Sun Alliance in facultative reinsurance and commercial underwriting roles. Deborah holds an MA from Oxford University, an MBA and is an ACII. She has been an active volunteer with Scope for over ten years.
