Gregory Jacobson is co-Chief Executive Officer of The Jacobson Group, the leading provider of professional talent to the insurance industry. Jacobson has successfully guided the firm through substantial growth over the years, and the firm was recently recognized as one the nation’s fastest-growing private staffing firms.



In addition to overseeing the organization, Jacobson manages select executive-level search projects for the firm's executive search practice, Jacobson Executive Search. He has consulted companies nationwide in all areas of the life, health, property and casualty insurance communities. Representative clients include Allstate Insurance Company, Arch Insurance Group, AFLAC, Great American Insurance Group, ING Group, and many others including private equity sponsored companies. He has successfully assisted industry organizations in the talent acquisition of critical senior-level disciplines including CEO, COO, CIO, CFO, etc.

Jacobson is an active participant in the insurance community. He contributes to many local, regional and national association events, including those of International Insurance Society (IIS), Property and Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI), and National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC). He is considered an expert on the industry's labor market and has often been called upon to share his perspectives on the industry’s talent outlook, human capital strategic planning and talent acquisition. He is a featured columnist in Best’s Review and also contributes his insights with periodicals such as LOMA’s Resource, Reactions and the National Underwriter Property and Casualty.

Jacobson is a Board Member of the National Insurance Industry Council for the City of Hope and the Chicago Sinfonietta, the nation’s most diverse orchestra. He graduated from Illinois State University of Normal.
