Aaron Jones

biography

Aaron Jones is currently the Manager, Research & Information Technology at Morgan Samuels Company, and is responsible for leading the research team in development of a world-class research infrastructure. He designs and implements tools and processes to shorten the research cycle time on an engagement and simultaneously improve database integrity. Additionally, he researches business development opportunities for the firm and leads a team of 15 researchers. Mr. Jones also manages the firm’s entire information technology platform.

Prior to joining Morgan Samuels Mr. Jones functioned as a Corporate Travel Manager for Cohen Brown Management Group where he developed and implemented the company’s first in house travel department for seven domestic offices as well as assisted offices in Asia, Europe and Australia.

As an Operations Manager for Sunshine Airlines, a Van Nuys based air charter company, Mr. Jones managed 30 pilots and ground crew, ten aircraft and led project teams to implement a flight turn around program that increased fleet utilization by 50%.

Mr. Jones was previously a Travel Services Associate/IT Technical Leader for Rosenbluth Travel on-site at Korn/Ferry International. In addition to arranging travel for Korn/Ferry’s senior executives, Mr. Jones developed and implemented technology solutions to improve booking productivity and accuracy. These solutions were later adopted throughout Rosenbluth’s southern California region and are still in use today.

Earlier in his career Mr. Jones was a Travel Counselor for MacPherson Travel and a Customer Service Supervisor in Reservations for Trans World Airlines.

Mr. Jones holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with a concentration in Organizational Management from the University of La Verne and is currently pursuing his MBA.
