Zdenek is the founder of the Amrop Dr. Kaufmann & Partner a.s. office in Prague, Czech Republic.

Zdenek began his executive search career in Prague in 1993, focusing on utility, banking and finance for several prominent firms, including setting up the markets practice for Intersearch. Before re-launching Amrop in the Czech Republic, Zdenek was Managing Partner and Head of Transearch International in Prague..

Zdenek specialization is IT, utilities, telecommunications, public and government sector, as well as top management, particularly Board of Directors and Supervisory Board positions.

Zdenek is member of Lions Club, AESC, BDU, as well as Czech Institute of Directors, Member of the Society for the Embellishment of South Bohemia and Member of the Honorary Board of Junior Achievement, the Foundation of Tomas Bata.

Zdenek graduated in Commercial Law and Management. He speaks fluently Czech, Slovak, German, English and Russian.
