Steve Kohn

biography

Mr. Kohn has 20 years of industry experience, in addition to being a top recruiter that numerous companies and industries rely upon.

After graduating with a BSEE, and continuing for an MBA , Mr. Kohn was employed by Genlyte/Lightolier as an engineer and marketeer in their lighting controls group.

Then, Mr. Kohn was recruited by LeCroy Corporation where he filled a succession of roles in their Test and Measurement products group, including Applications Engineer, Product Marketing Specialist, and Regional Sales Manager. During this time, Mr. Kohn successfully developed and implemented marketing programs aimed at chipping away at what was the huge market share of competing companies HP and Tektronix. LeCroy doubled in size during his tenure there.

Later, Mr. Kohn was recruited by The Texwipe Company to become their Senior Product Marketing Manager for Special Products and Business Development. In this role, Mr. Kohn gained a deep insight in to Class1 Semiconductor Cleanroom manufacturing techniques. Texwipe quadrupled in size during Mr. Kohn's association with the company.

While acting as CEO of Affinity Executive Search, Mr. Kohn has helped companies in numerous industries achieve their dreams by identifying and attracting key talent. Industries served have included uninterruptable power supplies, semiconductor manufacturing equipment and high purity materials, test and measurement equipment, gps equipment, direct mail, direct marketing, entertainment, advertising, and venture capital.

In his 15 years of serving his clients, there has never been an instance where an individual referred has not remained in their position for at least a year after being paid for.
