Preety Kumar is the founding Partner of Amrop India office. She is member of the Global Board of Amrop and Chairs the Global Marketing Committee. Amrop leads globally with group of over 200 partners across 55 countries and 86 offices. Amrop assists global and local corporations through a range of leadership consulting services – Top Management Appointments, Board Consulting, Succession Consulting, and Leadership Strategy. Amrop’s unique “Context Driven” approach tailors our consulting solutions to our clients. After more than two decades in the search consulting & with direct experience of serving clients across multiple industries, Preety is acknowledged for her wealth of experience & her outstanding client commitment. She has deep understanding of Leadership matters and detailed insights on talent issues of clients which she uses effectively to consult on External Succession, Board Advisory and Talent related areas. Her fundamental expertise lies in Consumer & Retail and Telecom sectors, HR Leadership practices, though she also has strong track record of serving the Life Sciences & Industrial clients. Her early life was as an HR Practioner with the Eicher Group. She is an Honors graduate in Psychology and holds an MBA with specialization in Human Resources from University Business School, Chandigarh. She serves as an Independent Director on the Advisory Boards of Sanmar Group, The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) – a not for profit independent research institute and Katha a non for profit children education organization. She has chaired the Corporate Governance Task Force at FICCI for 2 years. She has several industry recognitions – “CEO with HR Orientation” award by Asia Pacific HRM Congress and “Women Super Achiever” award by Stars of the Industry Group are a few of them.
