Joining LLLS in 1998, shortly after it was established, Jill Lasman has played a key role in the firm’s growth and rising stature in development executive search. Through leadership or direct recruitment, Jill has filled over 100 positions during her LLLS tenure, the majority of which have been in higher education. In addition to her search responsibilities, she is a member of the firm’s senior staff and serves on the business development committee.

Over the years she has filled more than 27 searches for Carnegie Mellon University, and since 2005 she has served as search leader for 28 searches at the University of Rochester and the University of Rochester Medical Center. Highlights from her professional experience in 2008 include her search and placement of Jim Brucker as Associate Dean for the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

A skilled interviewer, Ms. Lasman has worked in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations in the areas of recruitment, training and database administration. As Coordinator of Volunteer Services at the National Council of Jewish Women in Livingston, New Jersey, she developed and managed programs for volunteer recruitment, retention and recognition. Prior to joining LLLS, Jill worked with Madsen Personnel where she managed Customer Service for the Temporary Division. Jill is a cum laude graduate of the University of California/Los Angeles and serves on the board of directors of Women in Development of Greater Boston.
