Marcelo is a Vice President & Partner at Fesa responsible for conducting executive search projects in Rio de Janeiro, attending the states of Rio de Janeiro, Espirito Santo, as well as the North and Northeastern regions of Brazil. He is dedicated to the practices of the Industrial, Infrastructure , Oil & Gas, Mining, Steel and Metallurgy industries. Due to Fesa’s association with IIC Partners, he also conducts consulting projects in more than 60 business centers throughout the world. Marcelo began his career in Subsea Engineering as a researcher at the Subsea Technology Laboratory, part of COPPE/UFRJ, in association with CENPES/Petrobras. Marcelo also worked at Petróleo Ipiranga, acting in the Engineering, HSE, Logistics , Commercial and Strategic Planning department. In Executive Search, Marcelo started his career leading the start-up of the Oil & Gas division at an International Recruitment Consultancy. Later on he became responsible for another three divisions: Engineering & Manufacturing, Property & Construction and Supply Chain & Procurement. Marcelo holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and a MBA from COPPEAD Graduate School of Business.
