Gregory Louis, President

Mr. Louis Started his career in sales at the ripe old age of 14, when he opened his first business; a table at the Englishtown Auction and Flea Market. Before graduating High School, he had 3 locations that ultimately grew in to a retail storefront that remains in the family and is still in operation.

After graduating from Boston University in 1979, Greg began his “new” sales career at Premier Shoe, a regional retailer. He was so tremendously successful at hiring and training his staff to be a client focused sales staff (very unusual for retail in the 80’s) Greg was promoted 6 times in 7 years, ultimately being named Vice President of Sales and Operations. During this time Greg continued his education at New York University where he studied for an MBA in Labor and Industrial Relations. Greg’s ability to recruit and train, while streamlining operations, helped grow the business from 4 locations doing $5 million, to 16 locations doing over $24 million.

He left Premier in 1987 to begin his career in outside sales when he joined CIGNA Financial Services as a financial counselor where he provided small business and corporate executives with personal and business financial planning services. Greg’s uncanny ability to identify, hire and train salespeople led to his appointment as Sales Manager after only 4 months with the company, the quickest promotion to management in the company’s history. Greg grew his team from 0 to 14 Registered Representatives producing over $200 million annually in sales of products and services. Additionally, Greg qualified for President’s Conference each year for his personal production.

In 1993 Greg bought a partnership interest in a Management Recruiters franchise, where he conceived and developed a new Sales and Sales Management recruiting and training division that was producing 70% of the company’s revenue within 10 months time. Greg sold his partnership interest back to the original owner in 1994 and opened the Louis Search Group, Inc.

Since 1994 the Louis Search Group has consulted for, and recruited for dynamic sales organizations throughout the northeast. The Louis Search Group is an executive search and consulting company specializing in sales/sales management placement and sales training, performance improvement and operations improvement consulting. FOR RECRUITING CLIENTS

· Maintained a less than 3:1 send out to hire ratio with client companies experiencing 15:1 ratios with other agencies.

· Designed and implemented selection and recruiting plan for a client that increased the quality of new hires, reduced turn over, while reducing cost per hire.

· Have placed the first candidate introduced to an new client on over 20 different occasions.

· Provided on sight recruiting and training for a client that allowed them to outsource their hiring and training functions allowing them to have higher quality, more experienced professional performing these tasks than their budget had originally allowed.

· Filled client’s requirements within 4 weeks for an opening that the company and 6 other recruiting companies had been unable to fill for over 14 months.
