biography
Joann Maciejewski co-founded Olive Avenue Search Partners in 2012. Her extensive executive search and executive assessment experience includes projects at the CEO, board, and senior management levels for clients in the industrial, consumer, technology, and life sciences industries including public, private, and private equity backed companies.
Joann spent 21 years at Heidrick & Struggles, most recently serving as an Engagement Manager charged with talent acquisition and onboarding for the firm’s Associates in North America. She served as a Consultant and Project Manager on a large scale executive assessment and development assignment for one of the firm’s Fortune 50 technology clients. In addition to serving her external executive search clients, she previously served as Associate Coordinator for Heidrick & Struggles' North American offices, serving as a member of the Management Committee for the firm. She also helped to establish Heidrick & Struggles in Latin America.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Joann was Research Director for the Los Angeles office of Mitchell, Larsen & Zilliacus, a regional retained executive search firm.
Joann received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was a National Merit Scholar.
