Jess (Heady) Myers serves as Engagement Manager at Intellerati, the research division of The Good Search. Ms. Myers is responsible for identifying and profiling best-in-class senior executive and technology talent for our engagements. She is also responsible for the care and feeding of our proprietary database. She tracks the latest research tools and trends, ensuring The Good Search stays on the leading edge. Ms. Myers has conducted executive searches for some of the most powerful and successful companies in software, cloud computing, online media, and video games. She not only excels at delivering top talent for C-Level executive searches, she is a gifted technology recruiter. In one case, she recruited so rare a technology luminary that one Fortune 100 client said they had no idea where in the world the candidate might exist, or whether that person even existed. In addition, Ms. Myers has led engagements building talent pools for diversity talent acquisition initiatives. For one major financial institution, she assisted in the identification of more than 500 diverse officer-level candidates.
Ms. Myers has been working in retained executive search, executive recruiting and staffing since 2005. Prior to joining Intellerati, Ms. Myers served as a Recruiter and Research Associate at Staff Providers. She partnered with executive management on the placement of medical executives, physicians, and support staff. Her clients included some of the most highly regarded healthcare organizations in the Northeast, including Yale University Medical Center, New York Presbyterian Health System, and Quest Diagnostics.
Before Ms. Myers started her career in recruiting services, she served as a trusted assistant to a prominent attorney in the Fairfield County area. While in that role, Ms. Myers gained valuable investigative skills and abilities including researching backgrounds, legal due diligence, and deep research in the preparation of cases. Ms. Myers is certified by the National Association of Personnel Services as a Certified Temporary Staffing Specialist.
Ms. Myers is pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Library and Information Science at Southern Connecticut State University. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island.
