biography
Simon joined Oxford HR in October 2013, initially as an administrator, tasked with assisting consultants and researchers with general administration, database maintenance and fielding enquiries. He is now also part of the research team, using our databases and diverse research tools to track down the best possible candidates for the roles we fill.
Simon has a broad range of interests and experience in the NGO sector, having worked as an intern in volunteer management for Oxfam GB, in fundraising for CLIC Sargent and on conservation projects in Swaziland’s national parks. He also has a background in administration and customer service in the private sector, and is focused on combining clear and thoughtful communication with speed and accuracy in candidate search and record keeping.
Simon graduated with a BA in philosophy from the University of Warwick, where he developed a strong interest in practical ethics. He is particularly concerned with the moral dimension of organisational behaviour, and the relationship between organisations, their stakeholders, and society as a whole.
