Mr. David Parker

biography

In the corporate phase of his professional life, David had a successful career in Human Resources gained within multinational corporations in Australia and South East Asia spanning engineering, construction, project management and natural resources development. With the establishment of Geddes Parker & Partners in 1989, David has used this background to develop an extensive executive search and selection practice, with particular focus on those industry sectors that provided the base for his earlier career achievements.

David is a Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors. With an active interest in Asian regional business, after a number of years on the Council of the Hong Kong Australia Business Association, David has recently joined the Executive Committee (NSW Division) of the Australia China Business Council.

The hardcore genre band commitment for his University son is still very much alive and well, the only development over the last 12 months has been that instead of transporting gear to gigs across Sydney, David's role is reduced to making sure the SUV is washed and filled with petrol, his son now having the joys of finding parking spaces in the lane ways of Newtown and the back streets of Annandale.
