biography

Serving as President, Sally Pedley has been actively involved in recruiting since 1978. She started her own engineering search firm, Career Advantage, in Dallas in 1984 and in 1989 Tandem Computers recruited her to Austin, where she was charged with staffing the company’s first UNIX platform development project. She was additionally responsible for recruiting for eight other Tandem divisions throughout Texas. In 1994, she and Hank Stringer opened the Austin recruitment firm, which is now Pedley-Richard and Associates, Inc. Pedley has earned a BA in Finance and Economics from the University of North Carolina at Asheville
