Jim Poirot

biography

As our VP of Business Development, Jim works with companies involved with wireless and convergent networks. Jim began his recruiting career specializing in antenna design engineers and is currently working with individuals and organizations working in 3G with wireless, IP, hardware and software integration. Within this niche market he is vertically integrated from the design engineer to the "C" level of organizations with both start-up and established companies. Within the MRI organization, Jim earned his CSAM certification.

Jim attended The Mercersburg Academy and was graduated with a BS in Psychology from Michigan State University. While at MSU, Jim was recognized as Academic All Big Ten maintaining a 3.5 GPA and earning varsity status with the swim team.

As a professional counselor and a volunteer in the community, Jim has worked with challenged youths in behavior modification programs. He has training in personality profiling and testing. Jim is also a regular supporter and volunteer of the Fidelco Guide Dog foundation.

Jim is currently serving on the Winchester Board of Education. He sits on the public relations committee and has headed contract negotiation committees.
