biography
Kent has more than 20 years of experience in domestic and international general management, marketing and sales for U.S. based consumer products (Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products, Pillsbury/Pet, and United Industries) and financial services (E.F. Hutton) companies. Kent’s search practice focuses on executive and senior level positions in mid to large sized manufacturing, financial services, and marketing driven companies, as well as non-profit organizations. Some of his clients include Emerson, Aurora Foods, Learfield Communications, Edward Jones, Wiese, Sensient Technologies, Zebco, Grace Hill Neighborhood Health Centers and the Great Rivers Greenway of St. Louis. Prior to joining Grant Cooper & Associates, Kent was responsible for leading marketing, sales and product development organizations responsible for the successful introduction of hundreds of new products and line extensions, including the creation of an entire new corporate division. Kent is active in community service, including having served on the Board of Trustees at Mary Institute St. Louis Country Day School and Rossman School, and is currently serving on the President’s Advisory Council on Athletics at Brown University. He has an A.B. degree in Economics from Brown University and an M.B.A. in Marketing, Finance and Management Policy from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University
