Ms. Deborah Richard

biography

Newly named Vice President, Deborah Richard has been in the recruiting industry most of her 20-year professional life. Her career began in 1979 and in 1984 she and Sally Pedley founded Career Advantage in Dallas; Richard moved to Austin in 1992. Except for a period of five years when she served as a sales representative for a large publishing company, Richard has worked exclusively in the recruitment and executive search sector. Her initial position at Pedley-Stringer, Inc. was that of recruiter, during which time she coordinated projects for clients including Dell Computer, Advanced Micro Devices, Tivoli, and Cadence. Richard earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Texas and is experienced in a wide-range of recruitment assignments ranging from professional services to project management. Richard now manages Human Resources, Employee Development, and Public Relations efforts for Pedley-Richard.
