Pedro Riera

biography

Pedro Riera has been a Partner at Seeliger y Conde Amrop since 1996. He specializes in the Hi-tech, Telecommunications and Information Technology sectors. Before joining Seeliger y Conde Amrop he was President and General Manager of Apple Computer Spain for 8 years and a Member of Apple European Management Team. Prior to this, and for 20 years, he worked at IBM in different positions: Sales and Marketing Manager for Spain; Commercial Policy Manager for IBM Europe, based in Paris. Back in Spain, he became HR/IR Manager for three years and, later again in Paris, Assistant to the Vice-President of IBM Europe; in 1982 he was responsible for the launch of the IBM PC in Europe. Again in Spain, he held the position of General Manager IBM Product Distributor and, in 1986, he was appointed Commercial Director IBM Spain. Pedro holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration, as well as an MBA from ESADE. Pedro is Certified in Executive Coaching.
