biography
Jaleh joined Oxford HR as part of the research and admin team supporting the consultants in their search for suitable candidates. In November 2013, she moved to take up broader responsibilities as Business Manager. Jaleh started her career in international development after the disastrous earthquake in 2003 in Iran, where she joined the emergency and disaster response. She worked for several international NGOs such as Handicap International, Arbeiter Samariter Bund, People in Need and Swiss Academy for Development.
For the Swiss Academy for Development, Jaleh established a pilot project using sport in a post-disaster setting to support 300 traumatised children and youths, which turned out to be an international success. She has presented it as a good example in several seminars in Switzerland, Morocco, Germany and UK.
For the six years prior to joining Oxford HR, Jaleh was working with United Nations Refugee Agency office, managing several projects regarding education, health and vocational skills training for Afghan and Iraqi refugees. Jaleh has a postgraduate degree in Development and Emergency Practice from Oxford Brookes University.
