Ms. Shreve and all POINT LEGAL consultants have achieved academic and professional success at the highest levels throughout their careers. Ms. Shreve was graduated from the University of Pittsburgh summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 1979, and obtained her law degree magna cum laude from Duquesne University School of Law in 1983. As POINT LEGAL's President, she is able to draw upon almost twenty years of commercial litigation experience involving several business segments and industries in all regions of the country. Ms. Shreve commenced her litigation career at Buchanan Ingersoll P.C. where she was elected a shareholder, served several years on the Recruiting Committee, chaired the summer associates' program and was actively involved in the mentoring and training of associates. She subsequently accepted a position as a shareholder in the mid-size firm of Babst Calland Clements & Zomnir, P.C. in Pittsburgh where she continued her litigation practice and served on that firm's Recruiting Committee.
Ms. Shreve was one of two equity partners who established the Pittsburgh branch office of Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP in 1994, which enjoyed 15-fold growth during the succeeding seven years. In addition to maintaining an active litigation practice for several major corporations, Ms. Shreve served on Schnader's firm-wide Evaluation Committee for partnership elevation. She also was significantly involved in assessing the "right fit" of all lateral hiring and merger opportunities for the Pittsburgh office including recruitment, negotiation of compensation and other employment terms, and integration of lawyers and practice groups who joined the firm.
Ms. Shreve is involved in several community and professional activities. She is President of the Board of Directors of Pennsylvania Organization for Women in Early Recovery (P.O.W.E.R.), a member of the Boards of Directors of the Animal Rescue League of Western Pennsylvania and the Inner City Junior Development Program, and a Fellow of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation. Ms. Shreve was a member of the Edgewood Borough Planning Commission and is past president of the Duquesne Law Alumni Association.
