Dana Smith

biography

Dana grew up in West Des Moines. After graduating from Iowa State University (go Clones!) she felt the need to spread her wings and get the heck out of Dodge. She moved to Chicago and worked as a Store Manager for The Limited, Inc. She managed several large stores in the Chicagoland area and had a ball while doing it living in downtown Chicago by Wrigley Field. After four years the rat race got to be a bit too much and she made the decision to move back to West Des Moines. She transferred with The Limited but soon after that left the retail industry for a job as a Human Resources Manager for a small company, Standard & Poor's Fund Services. She came to Palmer Group during her own search for a new HR opportunity and the rest is history! She has now been with Palmer Group for over four years, specializing in HR and Administration.
