biography

Katherine started her career in the non-profit sector in Washington, DC after graduating from Wake Forest University in 2001. She joined the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Government Relations Department in grassroots organizing and event planning, and then the Membership Department at the American Bankruptcy Institute. She moved back to North Carolina to work on a political campaign as a fundraiser and event planner, and was then employed as the Development Director at Christian Life Home, a maternity home for pregnant teens. She joined Leadership Capital Group as a Project Coordinator in 2008 leading direct administrative search support for the Partners, candidates and clients of the firm.

Katherine and her husband, Will, reside in Raleigh, NC, where she is on the Alumnae Board of Salem Academy, a private high school for girls in Winston-Salem, NC and the Advisory Board of Hayes Barton Baptist Church Preschool. She is also involved in the North Carolina Museum of History and the Junior League of Raleigh.
